Dolphin Group's investment in Home & Cottage was a venture into Norwegian furniture and interior retail, where Dolphin, together with the Tvedt family, was serving as key shareholders in the company.
Home & Cottage was established in 2009 and developed into a nationwide furniture and interior retailer, built around a cohesive consept and a distinctive Nordic style. The investment built on Dolphin's experience in retail and chain operations, gave the group a position within a different part of the retail market than sports and consumer electronics.
Dolphin was also involved in the further development of the business, among other things through Øivind Tidemandson's role as general manager. The company later underwent a restructuring and liquidation, which marked the end of the business, but the experiences from the venture became part of Dolphin's continued work with retail and concept development.
