Since the 1970s, Dolphin Group has built extensive experience as an owner, entrepreneur and investor in retail, with a growing presence in real estate since the 2000s.
Dixon Group's acquisition of Elkjøp in 1999 gave Dolphin Group approximately 800 million for our stake in Elkjøp. This capital, and operational experience from Elkjøp, was the foundation for Dolphin's involvement in a number of leading major retail players, including POWER, XXL, and LIVING (later SkeidarLiving Group). Since 2010, Dolphin has expanded its investments into retail real estate, building significant ownership positions through Nordic retail properties and the establishment of Dolphin Eiendom in 2016.
Today, Dolphin is a Norwegian investment company owned by the brothers Tore and Øivind Tidemandsen, with a primary focus on retail and real estate with related services.
Through its ownership in leading retail and real estate companies, Dolphin is a significant player in Nordic commerce.
We combine capital with genuine industry expertise. This means we understand the businesses we invest in and can contribute through our network, specialist knowledge, financing, and active involvement at both board and management level.
We are always seeking new investment opportunities where our experience, network, and capital can make a meaningful difference — from restructuring situations and growth companies within consumer-related industries to commercial real estate assets with untapped potential.
